Founded in 1984 by Mr Orville Baxter, Acuity Contact Lenses brings over four decades of experience in the design and manufacture of specialty contact lenses.
Today, Acuity operates with an expanding leadership structure and a growing multidisciplinary team. Recent strategic appointments include a Company Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Plant Manager, Head of Operations, Head of Finance and Head of Prosthetics, supported by consultants and non‑executive advisors.
This structured growth reflects Acuity’s commitment to strengthening operational systems, manufacturing consistency and practitioner support, while maintaining the technical standards and clinical focus established since its founding.
